Israeli aircraft launched a new round of airstrikes on the Sanaa International Airport in Yemen on Tuesday, just ten days after the airport resumed operations following a previous Israeli attack.

According to Israeli and local media, the latest strikes targeted a Yemenia Airways passenger plane.

Al Mayadeen’s correspondent confirmed that several Israeli air raids struck the airport, renewing the assault on civilian infrastructure. Yemeni sources also informed our correspondent that the airport’s Customs department was targeted in the strike.

“Israel’s” Channel 12 reported that one of the targets was a Yemenia Airlines aircraft. The extent of the damage has not yet been confirmed, but the report highlights the recurring pattern of targeting civilian aviation infrastructure under the pretext of military objectives.
