I’m trying to prevent confusion with topics about this comm
I feel this is more of a topic on the moderation practices of a different comm, should have a more specific tag. [comm meta] or [comm policies] perhaps
I’m going to let this up, since it might affect future posts in YPTB. But I think we need some sort of [tag] to assign to these posts to make them easily findable in the comm. It can’t be [
since that should be about comm-internals. Any ideas? ]
Blocking whole regions sounds like overkill. Just block the alibaba subnets. We do the same on our end. If you want I can provide you the cidr ranges.
Lol wtf Zuck?! I can’t fucking believe how imbecilic these fucking corporate ghouls are.
One can make it also easier when switching profiles: They can just add a link to their new account. The profile info will be cached on other servers, even when the origin server goes down, providing a proof of the accounts validity. Of course lemmy could simply add a validation url similar to mastodon does and that would make this moot.
It’s not orwellian, it’s just fascist. Check out what mussolini was doing
Daym, corrected by a Non-Greek >_<
I know, but the letter is actually just ρ
. We don’t have a different sounding r in Greek
This is what LaRouchism does to a MFer’s brain.
excuse me, but as a Greek, what the fuck is this ῥ
?

This meme format has legs
We don’t want to talk about tankie paranoia, no.
You didn’t have diskettes or CDs in your neck of the woods?
Unless there’s a gang relations or a spurned partner, the only explanation for this sort of thing is a rabid fan which kinda aligns with femicide.
YDI. Rage baiting is a form of trolling. The point is not necessarily that your opinion is infuriating the mod, but that it’s intended to cause intense discussions (typically between third parties) which often devolve into flamewars that are difficult to moderate therefore wasting the mods’ time and deteriorating the community cohesion. If your plan was to have a constructive discussion about the topic, there’s other ways to word it. But it’s clear when you don’t want to do that.
Ye that one was good too
I think the new one coded her much more clearly as autistic, and ND people can come off as alienating to neurotypicals. I’m autistic myself and I didn’t consider her that way however.
Hm, probably something that can encompass both 3rd party instance and comm matters
