hostile infrastructure. if you’re not in a car then fuck you.
I hate it.
I am Glitch Daracova, the breachforged cyberdragon, an immortal god to which age has no meaning. Fear me and despair. If you’re lost, consult my lore (hyperlink missing). My pronouns are Maj/Majs—short for ‘majestic,’ regal and divine, as in “Maj rules majs kingdom.”
hostile infrastructure. if you’re not in a car then fuck you.
I hate it.
I know you already get it, but imma say it for the folks in the back who haven’t figured it out yet.
More disposable bodies for the meat grinder, no matter what. More slaves to be sacrificed on the altar of profit. There can be no fun, no joy, no fulfillment for the masses, only toil and suffering and birthing the next generation. This is why they hate the lgbt’s so much, because we’re having sex for fun and not producing more disposable bodies for the meat grinder.
Nobody has been able to explain to me how this new game has fucking anything to do with Marathon.
on the one hand, that’s dumb.
on the other hand, that doesn’t surprise me in the slightest.
The roundabout that I cross every day to go to work has the crosswalk even closer.
yall need real keyboards.
Try a 3 lane roundabout entry. I cross that shit twice a day on my commute to work every fucking day. Other options are very far out of the way as to make them non-viable.
I always wave on traffic so that I may cross when it is safe. Sometimes, a car stops to let me through, and refuses to move. I won’t go, because I can’t see the other two lanes past the car that is stopped. Four times in the past year, that car was rear ended by a massive fuckoff truck. For whatever reason, they get pissed off at me, not the guy that rear ended them.
In my opinion, Chasing Shadows was the best tower defense game ever made. It’s a shame that nothing has come around that can compete, even considering how the genre has moved forward since then. Although I say that with some reservations, as even the games that I’ve played that “move the genre forwards” haven’t been very good despite attempting new things.
There’s a new (well relatively) trend of rougish tower defense, one prominent example being Rogue Tower. I’ve played a few of them, they’re all the same. I am very disappointed.
I’m over here wishing for good new tower defense games.
I think I launched my first rocket around 500 hours, but that was long before the 1.0 release and before achievements were added. Played a lot of modded factorio since then, particularly seablock. Not sure how many hours into my current expansion save, but my total is 1440 hours. I still don’t have the “beat the game” cheevo.
I do enjoy seeing the great works that I’ve built, and watching number go up (in this case the tech progress). Quite satisfying, to such a degree that I’ve largely stopped playing incremental games. Watching a new build come to life and begin churning useful product, just, cheffs kiss.
I find it stressful, but I also find it worth it.
This is part of the reason why I do not engage in online communities related to shows and games and movies that I am currently experiencing or intending on experiencing soon.
sadly, this does mean that I don’t get to talk to people about cool shit, but that’s better than shitty exchanges with people I’ll never meet.
on the one hand, fuck you for your gatekeeping bullshit. You obviously don’t understand how nearly every developed country has built infrastructure to exclusively allow car eccentric transportation. Busses, if they exist, suck ass. Bike lanes, if they exist, are also terrible. If you don’t have a car, you can’t live.
On the other hand, almost nobody should be in personal cars. Public transportation fucking sucks and needs to be massively improved so that people like whom you responded to don’t need to drive.
edit: bring on your downvotes, I’m right and you can’t handle it.
I’ve never found anything like it since. Sure, there’s tons of shmups, but none of them blend a zelda-like overworld with dungeons that are shmup levels.
look, sometimes I just need a box of 100 pups.
they just show up at my house, unannounced, usually while I’m not there, and my roommates tell me “here’s a gift from ms derpinshnek”, and I have to say “tell her to take it back.”
if wasting a byte or seven matters to you, then then you need to be working in a lower level language.
i miss gemcraft, which one is your favorite? i really got into chasing shadows, but couldn’t get into frostborn wrath.
i love factorio, but I cannot see it as a comfort game.
I’ve got so many things to do, i need to massively increase processing on novice, gleba is a wrek, all my space platforms suck, everything needs to be reworked, and I won’t have the tech to fix fulgira or vulkanus until after I ve beat the game.
very stressful.
#2 most hours of any game on steam.
The Guardian Legend, for the nes, played on my pc using fceux because my preferred controller is a keyboard.
if I’m feeling bad, it makes me feel ok.
included, but not limited to.
